Customer Spotlight Video: Manicomio group embraces Flipdish digital solutions to drive takeaway sales

Flipdish customer Manicomio is a group of three high-end Italian restaurants in London. Having come on board with us in 2020, the are seeing significant benefits from using our system to provide collection and delivery services online.

We recently caught up with their Executive Chef, Tom Salt, for a Customer Spotlight video interview. He told us a little about the Manicomio brand and how they’ve ramped up their takeaway offering with a Flipdish-powered app and our online ordering system embedded on their website.

Tom also explained how Manicomio has taken advantage of our Managed Marketing services to promote their online offering – reaching a whole new customer base of younger diners as a result.

“We use the (Flipdish) marketing team to help promote the restaurants. We’ve been able to use social media and Google to reach out to people who we wouldn’t have been able to reach in the past. We’ve run a few marketing and discount options, which have proved very very successful. It has definitely helped drive sales,” said Tom.

It’s a creative approach for such an upmarket hospitality business, embracing digital channels and off-premises sales to meet current challenges and grow revenue for the long-term.
