Accessibility Statement

Introduction

Flipdish is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience for all users, including those with disabilities. We recognise the importance of digital accessibility and strive to fully comply with the European Accessibility Act 2025 (the “EEA”) and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

Our Commitment

We are actively working to ensure that our consumer-facing products and services are:

  • Perceivable – Information and UI components are presented in a way that all users can perceive.

  • Operable – Our product is navigable by a wide range of users, including those using assistive technologies.

  • Understandable – Content and functionality are clear, predictable, and easy to use.

  • Robust – Our platform is compatible with a variety of assistive technologies.

Measures Taken for Accessibility

To enhance accessibility, we have implemented or are in the process of implementing the following:

  • Regular accessibility audits and testing.

  • Ensuring keyboard navigation and screen reader compatibility.

  • Providing alternative text for non-text content.

  • Captioning for multimedia content and accessible document formats.

  • Clear and structured content to aid readability and comprehension.

  • Internal training on accessibility best practices for relevant engineering and product teams.

Compliance Status

We aim to comply with the requirements of the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and future products as well as material updates to existing products will be designed to meet the requirements of the EAA.

Some parts of our products are not yet fully accessible. We are aware of these issues and are working to improve accessibility over time.

Our product suite comprises a number of products. In some cases, products, such as our online ordering flow are embedded into a business’ own website. In other cases, a client's colour customisations can impact accessibility such as when a primary colour chosen for the website does not meet a contrast ratio of 4.5:1 (WCAG AA Standard). doesn't have an appropriate contrast with the background. We have existing measures in place to remind clients about certain choices including our website builder which contains warnings where the primary colour contrast ratio is less than 3.1. We are working towards providing additional automated guidance to clients when they make stylistic choices that may impact accessibility mechanisms for when clients make style decisions that may impact accessibility.

Full compliance is currently being addressed as part of an ongoing roadmap and in line with the requirements of the EAA for future products and/or material changes to existing products.
