The brand has fully embraced QR code table ordering, kiosks and digital ordering to service their customers. As Healthy Poke’s Business Development Manager Ivan Bertolone explains, “For us, digitalisation and technology are key to the proper development of our business. Our customers are used to moving in digital environments, so from the beginning we have had to implement technological solutions to facilitate the interaction between Healthy Poke and its customers.

Healthy Poke has performed strongly with Flipdish technology, growing digital ordering significantly. In a comparative four-month period in 2021, Healthy Poke increased their digital orders by 127% compared to the same period in 2020.

Growing direct orders

Though Healthy Poke do still use aggregators, Flipdish is helping them grow their direct orders and reduce their reliance on third-party food delivery companies. “It is a solution that allows us to build customer loyalty and attract customers to our direct channel,” says Ivan.
“In this sense, thanks also to the expansion we have had in the last two years, comparing the third quarter of 2021 versus the first quarter of the same year, the direct channel has already grown by 30% in terms of orders."

Smart devices are key to their strategy.

“Flipdish has helped Healthy Poke develop a proprietary sales channel so that more and more customers can find and order what they want at the click of a button on their mobile.”

Healthy Poke also work with Flipdish Managed Marketing and is seeing swift growth in their SMS database. “We prepared a SMS campaign at the end of July 2021 and less than a month later, the database had grown 15%,” Ivan shares. “We're working very hard between our team and Flipdish.”

Kiosks and expansion are the future

While Healthy Poke make excellent use of many Flipdish products, kiosks have been especially successful for the health-conscious brand. Currently, Healthy Poke has ten kiosks live and will grow this to 17 by the close of Q4.

Ivan explains the focus. “In order to always make it easier for the customer to interact with the brand, we saw the kiosks and QR codes as a way to achieve effectiveness and efficiency, improving operations and optimising times, as the customer can place their order independently without queuing.”
The truth is that the feedback we have received so far has been very positive, so it is still a safe bet for us to reinforce and implement these types of technological solutions in the company's stores.

The close of 2021 will see Healthy Poke with 35 locations in five different formats, and a technology-focused strategy at the forefront. “The digital approach continues to be key for Healthy Poke, which is why we are always evaluating solutions that allow us to improve the user experience,” says Ivan. “We must constantly streamline all processes. Customers value the time factor and we have the obligation to deliver the best product in the best way, and in the best time possible.
