Fast-growing US chain Rooster & Rice scales with Flipdish digital ordering

Founded by veteran restaurateur Bryan Lew and chef Thomas Charoen, Rooster & Rice specialises in Thai-style chicken and rice dishes. Their offering is very simple but effective, delighting customers with popular signature dishes.

“When we originally started, it was in San Francisco as a very local brand. We now have 10 outlets and we’re going to continue looking at more expansion opportunities throughout California and the rest of the US,” said Min.” says, Thomas Maneesh.

“Flipdish has really helped us with encouraging customers to come to some of our newest stores. We’ve been doing about US$30,000-$40,000 of sales per month since using Flipdish and that number has steadily grown,” said Min.

That robust growth is borne out when you look at the figures in more detail. For example, the business saw a 20% increase in online orders via Flipdish in July compared to June.

They are also using Flipdish customer loyalty tools to their advantage through their app, helping to build up more and more regular purchasers.
